Shire PLC was acquired by Takeda in 2019, resulting in a series of consolidation projects across the European region.
Prior to the acquisition, our team had been instrumental in assisting Shire in completing their project portfolio across the region.
Speed was a core component of delivery of the projects as it was imperative that Takeda and Shire staff were integrated as quickly as possible. Takeda saw the advantage of the methodology and the speed with which projects could be delivered.

Zurich was a challenging project with multiple stakeholders and the requirement to merge business units from Zug and Zurich into a single location. This 20,000sqm project was delivered in under 14 months from initial design kick off to project completion on site. This included a reconfiguration of 8,000 sqm of occupied space which had to be kept operational during the project.
The client explained upon completion of the rollout that ‘we would never have been able to complete these projects without the project team displaying high levels of engagement, and communicating seamlessly across multiple locations and jurisdictions’.
